On November 1st at the 44th Annual Promise Ball at Cipriani 42nd Street, JDRF honored longtime supporter and Turner President, David Levy, who was joined by the likes of comedienne Samantha Bee, who MC’d the event, ESPN’s Adam Schefter, and MLB’s Ron Darling.
The
crowd went wild over some top-ticket items in the Live Auction,
presided over by Adam Schefter but David & Niki Levy stole the show with a heartfelt speech about thier son, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) 13 years ago.
But the real winner was JDRF, which raised over $2.4 million toward treating, preventing and ultimately curing T1D.
