About Real Estate Games

  

Founded 32 years ago in Washington DC by Adam Singer (Savills) and Rick Kimball the JDRF Real Estate Games is an annual fundraiser sponsored by the commercial real estate industry that raises funds to support type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

 

Seven years ago, in 2016, the Real Estate Games made its debut in NYC. Jim Whelan, the NYC Real Estate Games founder, along with the Event Committee, have grown this event exponentially over the last eight years, having raised over $1 million in support of JDRF’s mission.

 

The Real Estate Games brings together New York City’s top brokers, developers, law firms, engineering firms, architects, property managers, and more to compete in a series of sporting events at Chelsea Piers. This year, we hope to open the competition up to a larger portion of the industry to make an even greater impact in the lives of those living with T1D.
