Fifty years ago TODAY, a few parents and their love for their children started what would become the world’s leading type 1 diabetes (T1D) research organization.

As we recognize the spectacular progress over the past 50 years, we realize we are not done yet. While it will take more time, our JDRF community possesses the commitment and passion to go as far as is needed until we live in a world where T1D is nothing more than a historic line in a medical journal.
