Anastasia & Nick Brien

Anastasia and Nick Brien became involved with JDRF in March of 2008 when their daughter Delilah was diagnosed with T1D at the age of five. They have participated in various events across multiple Chapters including a New York City OneWalk team, Team Delilah, which has raised more than $200,000 since 2008 and is celebrating their 10th Walk in 2017.

Nick is a member of the NYC Chapter Board of Directors and has also served on JDRF’s International Board of Directors. Anastasia has also served as co-chair of the JDRF Catwalk event in the Westchester/ Fairfield/Hudson Valley Chapter. Anastasia and Delilah both have type 1 diabetes and have been national spokespeople for JDRF sharing their story at various galas within the region and on national news programs. Delilah is a JDRF Youth Ambassador and served as a Children’s Congress delegate in 2009. Both Anastasia and Delilah are currently JDRF mentors.
